Glastonbury is the world’s largest green field performing arts festival with hundreds of stages and thousands of performances day and night over a full five days. This year’s festival runs from Wednesday 25 June until Sunday 29 June with a host of Theatre & Circus talent among its acts.
2025 Festival Preview
It’s the last festival before a ‘fallow year’, when the festival takes a year off to give the workers and the land a break, which makes the stakes all the higher!
To many who haven’t yet graced the fields of Worthy Farm, where farmer Michael Eavis founded the festival on his working dairy farm in 1970, the festival conjures images of music superstars blasting hits from the famous Pyramid Stage to a see of festival-goers.
But what some people may be less aware of is the vast array of alternatives to music and late night mischief that are available across the festival; no less so than in the Theatre & Circus fields where over 1000 performers from around the world will perform from mid-morning right through to the wee small hours.
Comedy, cabaret, circus, poetry, clowning, juggling, magic – you name it, it’s there; and we’ll be there to take you where the television cameras don’t always reach. We’ll be bringing you previews of nineteen Theatre & Circus areas, interviews with some of the most exciting acts and reviews of the best of what’s happens on-site, as well as daily round-ups through the weekend.
So, whether you’re attending the festival, or looking on from afar; come with us to Glastonbury Festival 2025.
